Electronic Prescription Service (EPS). 

This is an NHS service.  It gives you the chance to change how your GP sends your prescription to the place you choose to get your medicines or appliances from.

This service is now available at the Pall Mall Surgery.

Please inform the surgery in writing of your nominated pharmacy.

For safety reasons if you do not attend for your medication review we will be unable to issue your medication.

For patients on long-term medication there are a number of options open for ordering repeat prescriptions:

  • By Hand - drop the tear-off slip attached to your last prescription in at reception with the required items clearly marked.
  • By Post - send it to us remembering to enclose a stamped addressed envelope if you want us to post it back to you.
  • Online - follow the link at the top of this page and complete a simple registration.Housebound Patients - Can call the surgery.

Please note that for safety reasons we are unable to accept requests for medication over the telephone.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.

If you do require your medications early due to annual leave, please inform the surgery when making your request.
